Hello, I’m Kristen and I’ve been passionate about animals my entire life. From a young age, I knew caring for animals would be apart of my life, I started as a junior dog handler (junior dog trainer) and providing services for in home pet care. That led me to volunteer with rabbit rescue inc, spca, be an activist for Breed Specific Legislation, and work as a pet specialist at Pet Valu. I have always been the first person people call when they find an injured animal; I have provided care for dogs, cats, aquatics, rats, gerbils and lizards.

 

I received my Bachelor Degree in Community and Criminal Justice and worked in the Court house before I started the process to work as an Animal Protection Officer. However, soon after my husband and I decided to relocate to New Brunswick. My love for animals has only grown stronger and I am now very excited to be offering a full range of dog care services with Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play, where your furry friend will be treated with love and care, just like a member of my family. I not only take the upmost care of my own pets, but I strive to ensure the well-being and happiness of all animals I come across. As a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist and a devoted pet parent, I have extensive knowledge and experience in pet care that I would be happy to share with you to help your pet thrive!
