​I’ve dedicated my life to animals in some aspect or another, animal care and advocacy, earning multiple degrees and certifications to better serve pets and their owners, and of course loving and caring for my own. My credentials include Honours in Criminal Justice, Canine Specialist, Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist (CPCN), Holistic Dog Care Cert., Raw Feeding University Cert., Canine Energetics Cert., Herbalism for Cats and Dogs and Canine Massage Therapy course. These qualifications, combined with years of hands-on experience, have allowed me to develop a comprehensive approach to pet wellness.

The idea for Auroraw was born from my deep connection with dogs, especially my own pup, Aurora, and a growing awareness of the gaps in pet care. I realized that many pet services didn’t fully address the importance of holistic wellness, from proper nutrition to mental and physical enrichment. With a background in canine wellness and nutrition, I knew I could offer something special — something that would truly make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. It was Aurora who sparked my passion for canine nutrition and feeding a whole real food diet. This combination lead to our brand Auroraw.

Launching Auroraw was no easy feat. As a solo entrepreneur, every detail fell on my shoulders—from building the business plan to designing the space, managing finances, and marketing. There were moments of self-doubt and countless late nights, but the vision of creating a haven for pets kept me going. I started small, focusing on what I knew I could deliver with excellence: personalized care. I wanted every dog to feel like part of a family, not just another number in a kennel. Word-of-mouth spread quickly, and soon I found myself surrounded by a community of pet owners who shared my values and trusted me with their beloved companions.

Over time, Auroraw evolved into more than just a boarding and daycare facility. I introduced services like canine nutrition consultations, acupressure massage, and eventually laser therapy. Each new offering was carefully chosen to support pets’ overall health and well-being. I poured my heart into ongoing education, becoming a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist and learning innovative wellness techniques to better serve my clients.

As Auroraw continues to grow, our brand-new facility's space will allow us to expand our offerings, providing even more room for enrichment activities, wellness services, specialized care, and community events.

One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of cat boarding. I’ve always believed that cats deserve the same level of personalized attention and wellness-focused care as dogs. The new facility will include a dedicated, serene space designed specifically with cats’ unique needs in mind, ensuring a stress-free and comfortable stay.
