Service Agreement Policy

At Auroraw, our policies are designed to ensure the safety, health, and happiness of all dogs in our care. From daycare to boarding and wellness services, we strive to create a calm, enriching, and supportive environment for every pup. Our goal is to provide a CARING, SAFE, and FUN environment for your pets during your absence. With 10+ years’ experience working with animals throughout the community, you can rest easy knowing your fur babies are receiving “Top of the line'' care. As a Fur Parent it is your responsibility to kindly update our staff with any changes to your personal information.

We kindly ask all clients to review and adhere to our policies regarding vaccinations, behaviour assessments, cancellations, and pick-up/drop-off times.

These guidelines help us maintain a safe and stress-free experience for all our furry guests. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work together to provide exceptional care for your beloved companion.​

PAYMENT & DEPOSITS: Owner agrees to pay the rates for pet care services that are in effect on the date the pet is scheduled into Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play. Payment balance is expected, in full, at time of check in for all reserved dates. Any early pick up requires full payment of original reservation. Owner understands and agrees no pet(s) will leave the facility until all charges due are paid in full.

Check-out and check-in times are scheduled appointment times; your appointment is held for 15 minutes. Please be aware we may not be able to accommodate last minute changes or late shows. Owner must notify Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play as soon as possible if they are going to be late, or miss their appointment.

* 50% Deposit for reservations is required at time of booking. Your dates will not be confirmed until payment is processed.

*  Please Note: Boarding Fees are generated “per night”. Any Pets checking out after 10am owner shall be charged an additional $20 late pick up fee (excluding Daystay). Checking in earlier than your scheduled arrival time will result in a $20 early check in fee. Dogs not picked up by (5:00 pm) will be charged a late fee of $5 for every 30 minutes per dog. If not picked up by 6:00pm we will shut our doors and board your dog for the night with an additional 1 night charge.

WELLNESS: Owner certifies that pet(s) shall be current on all required vaccinations and/or titers 10 days prior, to lodging and shall supply Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play with the appropriate documentation which include dates administered. The following are required: Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Rabies, and Bordetella.

FEEDING: Owner will provide Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play with your pets choice of dry, canned, or raw food. All dry food is to be bagged individually by day. We recommend keeping your pet on their regular daily diet prior to enjoying their stay with us to eliminate any upset stomach and/or allergic reactions during food transitions. Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play will provide a bland meal of ground turkey, squash, probiotics, and gut sooth to their regular diet if necessary for an upset stomach. Please package medications separate from the food bags. If you board for an extended period (12 days or more) you can provide food in a clean, airtight container labeled with your pet's name and serving cup. An unopened bag of dog food does not constitute a sealed container. Additional fee of $10/day will be charged if food is to be supplied by Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play. If food is provided by Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play we do not guarantee it will be the same brand or food type.

RATES:

All prices are per dog per night, unless otherwise stated. The additional dog must be from the same household. All prices are +hst. *Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Boarding:

First Dog - $44  Additional Dog - $23

Holiday/Peak Season Rate: see below

Late Check Out or Early Check In: $20 per dog

NON-HOLIDAYS & NON-PEAK SEASONS

  • A 2-night minimum stay is required on weekends to better accommodate all our furry guests.

  • Cancellation more than 7 business days before the boarding check-in date will receive your deposit credited to your account.

  • Cancellation less than 7 business days before your boarding check-in date or “no-show”, you agree to forfeit the full deposit.

  • Any cancellation/early departure request done outside business hours will be considered as being received the next day.

  • Clients that wish to pick-up their pet early will still be charged for the entire scheduled reservation. NO EXCEPTIONS

HOLIDAYS & PEAK SEASON:

  • A 2-night minimum stay is required during holidays & peak season times to better accommodate all our furry guests.

  • A deposit credit will only be available if the reservation is cancelled more than 7 business days before the scheduled date of arrival.

  • Cancellation less than the 7 business days before the scheduled date of arrival, including "no-shows", agree to forfeit their full deposit.

  • Any cancellation/early departure request done outside business hours will be considered as being received the next day.

  • All holiday and peak date cancellations you will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee for each room reserved. Any reserved dates that falls on a Holiday/Peak Season date will be considered a Holiday/Peak season reservation.

  • Clients that wish to pick-up their pet early will still be charged for the entire scheduled reservation. NO EXCEPTIONS

 

HOLIDAY & PEAK SEASON TIMES: Holiday/Peak Season: $10 per day unless stated otherwise

  •  Summer Break - (June 20 & September 1)**

  •  Thanksgiving Day

  •  Remembrance Day

  •  Holiday Break - (December 23 - 26 & December 31 - January 2)

Any dates booked that fall on a Holiday/Peak Season date will be subject to their cancellation policy and subject to rate fee.

  • ** Summer Break is $5 per day

In addition, our office is closed; we will not be answering texts, calls, emails, sending pictures or videos on the following days:

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Day

  • New Years Eve

DAYCARE CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Same day daycare cancellation or no-show will result in being charged for one (1) full day or will be deducted one (1) credit from the package.

  • Any daycare cancellation request done after our business hours will be considered as being received the next day with fees applying according to this policy.

  • Daycare packages cannot be used as credit toward other services.

BEDDING & COLLARS: All owner provided bedding must:

Be clean, safe, easily laundered or cleaned, lightweight and manageable. No Large oversized heavy bedding or blankets. Must be made of a snag free material; knitted or crocheted blanket/bed or carpeting will not be accepted. Dogs entering and leaving the premises must be leashed at all times. For safety reasons, it is MANDATORY that you remove your dogs training collars (e.g a choke chain, pinch collar, or shock collar) and replace it with a flat collar for their stay. It is the owner’s responsibility to present your dog to us with their tags (Rabies tag, ect) securely attached to a properly fitted flat collar.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Auroraw Doggy Stay and Play requires that dogs be at least 12 to 17 weeks (4 months) old and on a vaccination program. Shelter/adopted dogs must have been in the home for at least 3 months prior to attending our facility. All dogs must be spayed or neutered if they are over 2 years of age in order to interact with other dogs. Any female in heat is not permitted to interact with other dogs and will be housed separately, an additional fee applies. All dogs must be non-aggressive neither towards humans and other dogs nor over food or toys. 

 

GROUP PLAY:

All dogs must pass a behaviour assessment in order to attend dog-to-dog group play. No dog may be admitted to group play that shows any signs of any type of aggression. Owner is declaring that their dog(s) is/are in good health, have not harmed, shown aggression, or exhibited any threatening behaviour towards any person or other dogs.
