Myofunctional Massage

Holistic Wellness for Body & Mind

Our in-home canine massage sessions are designed to support your dog’s physical health, emotional balance, and overall well-being.

What Is Canine Myofunctional Massage?

Canine Myofunctional Massage is a holistic, hands-on therapy focused on the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, and organ. When fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can limit movement, create pain, and affect posture or performance.

Through gentle, precise techniques, Myofunctional Massage releases tension, improves circulation, and restores balance throughout the body. By freeing restricted fascia and relaxing underlying muscles, dogs move more comfortably, recover faster, and experience deeper emotional and physical ease.

Each session is tailored to your dog’s needs — whether they’re recovering from an injury, living with chronic tension, managing pain, or simply benefiting from ongoing wellness care.

  • Improved Mobility: Increased flexibility and range of motion

  • Faster Recovery: Ideal for post-surgery or post-activity recovery

  • Improved Posture & Movement: Restores alignment and balance

  • Holistic Wellness: Enhances overall vitality, immune function, and energetic flow

How Myofunctional Massage Fits into a Wellness Plan

Myofunctional Massage integrates beautifully with veterinary care, behavior work, physical therapy, and nutrition. It is not a replacement for medical treatment — it complements it by improving body awareness, reducing inflammation, and supporting long-term wellness.

It’s especially beneficial for:

  • Senior dogs with stiffness or arthritis

  • Athletic or working dogs

  • Dogs recovering from surgery or injury

  • Dogs with anxiety, trauma, or tension-based behaviors

How Dogs Respond to Myofunctional Massage

Most dogs find the experience deeply soothing. Some relax immediately, while others take time to adjust — every session is guided by your dog’s comfort and body language. Many dogs stretch, sigh, melt into the work, or even fall asleep.

Session Length

A typical session lasts 45–60 minutes depending on your dog’s size, condition, and comfort level. Follow-up sessions are customized to their needs and progress.
